THE ENGLISH LANDSCAPE

The perfect key to the English picture leading to an appreciation and knowledge of the quaint customs and the simple everyday scenes we are apt to take for granted. Sir William writes a weekly column in The Observer which is followed by thousands of Britishers and visitors so that those who know ""B. T.s"" column will rejoice in this book. With long strokes he paints this picture. B. T. says this landscape is due not entirely to geology or astronomy but principally to the social history and all the contributing factors. Beautifully illustrated and jacketed. You may well add this to your English Countryside group although it is slightly more expensive.
