WAR UNLESS ..... by Sisley Huddleston

Email this review

In line with the Simmonds' book and others, but more constructive than most of their link. A careful study of the conditions in Europe today which seem to lead inevitably to another war unless radical stops are taken. An analysis of the menace, an indictment of secret conclaves, underhand agreements, poor publicity, lack of openness and honest dealing, overdose of conferences leading nowhere. Three main steps toward prevention he outlines:- close harmony of action between England and America; the establishment of a spirit of real cooperation between the four great powers; the organization of a commission on revision of existing treaties. Thoughtful. Provocative.
