PIONEER DAYS IN IDAHO COUNTY: Vol. II

Whereas the first volume in this regional research project dealt with towns and cities in Idaho County, this successor is largely concerned with the rivers, mountains, lakes, highways and trails in this part of the country. Once again this is a massive miscellany of information derived from primary source materials- and geography and geology, nomenclature, literary and historical references, incidents and landmarks, prairies and mines, forests and farms fill in the landscape past and present. The first volume appeared in 1947, and this again will have a limited, local audience.
