FOUR BIG YEARS

The importance of selecting the right college is here translated into valid and practical terms, subduing much of the pressure and hysteria and stressing that the right college is the one best suited to the interests, capabilities and finances of the applicant. While there are no specific value judgments on specific colleges, there is an overall prospectus of private colleges, state institutions and liberal arts, teachers colleges, junior colleges, technological and trade and night schools and what each offers. They offer questions to consider such as extra curricular activities, religious affiliations, co-educational versus all girls or all men's colleges. Statements of qualifications for acceptance and advice on financing complete an excellent book of solid guidance which both high school students and their parents will find valuable.
