KIRKUS REVIEW

For the mathematically inclined, this is the first book devoted to a new diversion, polyominoes There are dominoes, trominoes, tetrominoes, and pentominoes in the kit, and the whole caboodle consists of some twelve pentominoes which are included in a pocket of the book. The range of complexity is from the simplest polyomino the domino composed of two squares, to polyominoes of higher dimensions. A Problem Compendium containing almost 100 problems accompanies. There are more than 190 diagrams and a set of pentominoes as well. For specific, special tastes.
