FUN WITH ITALIAN
by ‧RELEASE DATE: Sept. 8, 1964
Without wasting a flat, pedestrian English word, the authors urge the young reader into the fun of Italian. It's a teach-yourself text that readers can use on their own but teachers will recognize its value as a group text. The approach employed is the same Miss Cooper used in her excellent Fun with Spanish -- vigorous eaching which guides the beginner from Italian words that are almost the same in English to exercises that test the demonstrable competence acquired on a trip through the book. The co-authors are professors of Italian, and the illustrator has provided fun-filled sketches that act as bait and help users into and through the text. Vocabulario.
