Problem romance, competently handled, and a sure, safe rental filler, this story of Elin and Philip their young son Van, and their gardener Michael. Philip resents Michael's efficiency, resents the companionship of his little girl, Letty, with Van. Driven by ambition, increasingly surly, snobbish, emotionally upset in his affair with an actress, Philip needs the crash of to reassess the value of his family, the lonely satisfaction of money per se, and misfortunes remakes him. Rophie Kerr is dependable upper cut rentals, some sales.
