KIRKUS REVIEW

A Van Kill novel of detection, replete with citations in all tongues save Papuan -- a flossy, intricate dish for those that have the taste for them. A bit of esoteric erudition headed by the savant sleuth, his Greek helpmeet and the child prodigy. It is all tied up with a magazine chain and a rival organization, with unamerican activities and anti-semitism. Members of both organizations indulge in murder, blackmail, kidnapping and forgery, and intertwine neatly suspects, victims and criminals.
