THE ADVENTURES OF CHICO

By

Pub Date: Oct. 10th, 1938

This is a nature book, probably factual in content, and certainly set up in a way that would suggest its being based on fact. Indeed, it is almost forbidding in appearance, though the photographs of Chico's wild animal pets are excellent. The types of wild creatures he knew at first hand on the Mexican plains are quite different from the routine animals, -- armadillos, wild boars, raccoon bears, and especially the paisano birds, one of whom saves Chico's life when a rattlesnake was on the point of attacking him. Sell as a nature book -- and an animal photograph book.
