Coming as a major motion picture,"" and they can have it. Sadly, it didn't take much imagination to come up with the plot--terrorists take over an employeefilled Manhattan highrise and ransom the hostages off floor by floor, company by company, million by million--and it doesn't take much imagination to guess that it all gets bloody, messy, gassy, and loud. At least the crazed leader is not Palestinian; he's merely money-mad and vengeful (the real estate company that developed 330 Park treated him badly), enough so to hire and train a 40-man army (mostly black) to enforce his takeover. Lt. Harry Ziller of the hostage squad leads the counter-activity outside, arranging for 600 lunches-to-go from the Waldorf, Intercepting the terrorists' walkie-talkie messages, and wearing a crotch holster with panache. Inside, there's hostage-captor sex (ah, the black stud myth dies hard!) and a few hero-types who fight back with the usual results. ""Throughout the building the tedious waiting continued."" Right on.
