KIRKUS REVIEW

Genial, breezy tale of amateur sleuthing in a Long Island town, which has to do with two murders, vanishing cats, empty herring boxes and a marked ruler. Angey and Peter make a perfect score as they unravel the tangle of a nightclub singer, a local shipyard magnate, an omnipresent playboy and threats to the safety of the community. FBI for a Nazi cleanup, as Angey and Peter nab the master agent.
