HAMDOO TO BOMBERS

A picture book of airplane history, patterned at the start on biographical milestones, from Leonards da Vinci in 1500 AD to today and the dreams of the future. The last section of the book, after covering types of aircraft, goes into details such a radio etc. The Edward A. Wilson Illustrations are decorative colored wood block type of pictures, rather than informative realistic pictures. The text has a tendency to talk in superlatives. It seems to me there are better books available, though this has a good deal of solid information.
