KIRKUS REVIEW

Laid out in gold lame in the swimming pool is the young wife Kohinoor--yes like in diamonds--of superrich Harrington Hartford Lake who has just predeceased her (a coronary?) and left her most of his considerable all. Since he had also had five children by four previous wives, there's an equal embarrassment of riches to choose from until the unexpected coda. Miss Forbes, as always, is a steady producer and an irrepressible plotter.
