KIRKUS REVIEW

Not as satiric as her Cold Comfort Farm, and therefore of a wider market appeal, but a less discriminating one. The three orphaned Gardens take a house together and attempt communal living. But the plan falls through when the boys prevent Sophia from bringing order out of chaos -- and Sophia slips out. Good entertainment -- well done -- neat caricatures of interfering relatives.
