Based on the wisdom and guidance of Judeo–Christian principles, this short spiritual guide offers direction through the challenges of life.

Oladiran compiles over 10 years of her spiritual articles in her debut nonfiction book that exemplifies her powerful passion for showing how God and Scripture can help in all of life’s dilemmas. However, the power of these ideas is often diminished by sloppy editing. Oladiran, a born-again Christian, has impressive knowledge of the Scriptures and how to apply them to life, but her means of conveyance could use an edit for style, grammar and punctuation. The book is divided by sections into different spiritual issues, with appropriate biblical stories illustrating many of her points. But when it comes to bridging these concepts into the modern world, the anecdotes include vague examples of people in various situations that can sometimes come across as random. Perhaps these stories could be fleshed out with more detail to give them a similar weight to the biblical stories. The order of sections doesn’t seem quite connected or logical, either, and the ideas of a particular section will often repeat the ideas of a previous one without building on them. Also, the author might consider including a final unifying section to bring the distinct ideas into a practicable conclusion. Nonetheless, Christian readers will find this book to be a helpful, clear reminder of the basic tenets of their faith, while non-Christians won’t be as impressed, even though some of the guidance goes beyond religious affiliation.

A guide to Christian living that needs a cleaner presentation.
