SIX-MAN FOOTBALL

This is an answer to those who say it can't be football with only six on a side. The author is the originator of this new game with an old background, for use in smaller schools, with limited facilities and finances and players. He dropped guards and tackles from the line, and one half back. He opened the game for more passing, by making all players eligible, when on one end of the line. The original 1934 rules and the changes as they have come along are all included. This is designed for players, coaches, schools, clubs. There are chapters on the training of young players, on plays and formations that have proved successful -- and a brief section on the history of eleven-man football as the greatest college game of all.
