A series of lectures and discussions on Space Age Christianity took place in August 1962 at the Seattle World's Fair. Taking part in this symposium were the Rev. Dr. Wm. S. Pollard, Director of the Oak Ridge Institute of Nuclear Studies, as well as priests on the staff of St. Stephen's Episcopal Church, Oak Ridge, Edward C. Wells, vice-president of the Boeing Aircraft Co., Dr. Paul Dudley White, distinguished heart specialist, Dr. Franklin K. Murphy, Chancellor of the University of California in Los Angeles, Prof. J. Milton Yinger, professor of sociology and anthropology at Oberlin College, and the Rev. Albert T. Mollegen, Professor of Christian Ethics at the Virginia Theological Seminary.
