TEEN-AGE COWBOY STORIES

A collection of stories by Mr. Payne similar to Teen-Age Stories of the West. Again the author seems pressed for ideas, and although the bunk-house drawl is as relaxed an atmosphere as ever, the characterizations are pretty thin for this age group, and the situations routine. There is the fumbling greenhorn who makes good, the lanky hired man who aims to hitch-up with widowed Ms. and some tips on bronc busting. Not up to the mark set by several other cowboy anthologies.
