On sturdy card stock, captioned objects grouped by function, event, or concept: ""Pets,"" ""Bath Time,"" etc. There's lots to learn: e.g., there are eight sorts of foot gear with their own names, but ten different-looking items are all ""bibs""; and things called by the same color name are not always exactly the same color. For precocious readers some words are repeated. An excellent early concept book.
