THE SEA SNAKE

Barney Cannon, trying to uncover a Nazi smuggling ring which has been getting food to U-boats off the Korth Carolina coast, is captured by the Nasis and kept a prisoner on the submarine, Sea Snake. There follows an exciting and grilling experience, during which, by keeping his wits about him, he discovers the material the engines are using instead of oil and manages to get a sample of it. Finally, escaping off the Jersey shore he has the satisfaction of seeing the Sea Snake destroyed and realises he has made a signal contribution toward ending the U-boat menace. An exciting Meader story, well told and timely.
