BLUEBERRY MOUNTAIN

This is the second book Meader has written with an agricultural-vocational slant (the other was T-Model Tommy). This time it was the discovery that commercial blueberries were cutting into their roadside market that determined two Pocono Mountain lads to find out for themselves how and where they could raise their own blueberries, crossing the best of the mountain berries with the new strain. There is a thread of adventure, but this practical slant is the best side of it.
