GREASED LIGHTNING

Greased Lightning was a pig on Zeke's father's farm, and Zeke saved him from the way of most pigs, even to winning him back again in a greased pig contest. A jolly story, full of the humor that Kurt Wiese's illustrations have caught so contageously. Zeke is a regular kid, nine years old, and the background of life on the farm in the middle west is irresistibly handled. With both pig and boy convincingly appealing, this book should prove very popular.
