Hollywood is the molten montage for some characters who find themselves leading a fairly peripheral existence and who occasionally spend fifty dollar, fifty minute hours on the couch of Dr. W. Reynall Beck, a sick psychiatrist. Among them are Paul Donen, a once great football star with a strong attraction for all women, and Eva Tyler, a motion picture star who has never achieved any solid relationships off the screen. Donen, after one visit to the doctor, decides to probe his own past (a marriage which did not work out) and Eva turns against Beck. So that in the hope of re-gaining his hold on Eva (a more than professional interest here) Beck arranges the meeting between Donen and Eva which does not have for Beck the desired results; the frenetic of the flesh they both share becomes a stronger love, defeats Beck's running interference, and finally provokes his more deadly assault on Eva's life..... Even if it could only happen here- it still doesn't seem very likely.
