MUCH BIGGER THAN MARTIN

Kellogg enlivens the complaints of a younger brother, who can't swim to the raft or make a basket and always gets the smallest pice of cake, with Henry's pictured fantasies of what he'd do if he were bigger than Martin--say, as big as a giant. He tries eating a whole bag of apples for grow power, but when that only makes him sick, Dad puts up a lower basket just for him and Martin confides that he couldn't reach the high one at Henry's age either. Don't expect Kellogg to stop with such conventional consolations, though: next day Martin is his old bossy self, and we see Henry, more independent now, hammering out a pair of stilts. Invitingly on target.
