THE CANDY WITCH

Little Maggie the witch lives with her parents and brother, who specialize in casting good spells. But when no one notices her good deeds (such as filling people's pockets with candy), Maggie pulls some bad tricks on Halloween--her last, bad stroke is making all the children's trick-or-treat loot bags disappear--and then is so overcome with remorse that she stages a candy festival which cheers up the children and wins her family's approval. Lollipop witchery for sure, though Hafner adds enough all-purpose nip and ginger to keep it looking brisk.
