KIRKUS REVIEW

Another offbeat book by the author of The Silly Book -- this one about a funny friendship between the invisible Mr. Nobody and his practical acquaintance, the umbrella bug. Every Wednesday Mr. Nobody plunks down on the park bench and plinks (cries) from noon to 4 PM. During the course of one of these wet wails, Mr. Nobody meets the umbrella bug who after locating Mr. Nobody's nose and assisting in a good blow, wins the undying affection of his invisible new friend. Having proven his membership in the fantasy world of the imaginative set, Mr. Hample contributes another series of droll animations to delight his fellow subscribers.
