Unless Macedonia should chance to be the scene for a shot heard round the world, I can't see any market for this, outside the narrow limits of students of Greek history. This is the story of revolution in Macedonia -- a forty year struggle, which has resulted in Macedonia being a sore spot of the Continent. Handled in sympathetic manner, it tells the story convincingly and with a note of authority. The author is himself a Macedonian, and has shared in its struggle.
