KIRKUS REVIEW

Not quite routine Western, for it is a story of two youths, who have started for home after seeing the world, with a few hundred dollars in their jeans. They rescue an old American from a Mexican bully, and fall heir to a lot of troubles when the old man dies. Simultaneously, one of them learns that he is heir to his grandfather's estate, provided he has earned $5000 himself. He has 50 days to make good. Well paced yarn.
