An unusual thing these days, in a relatively wholesome love story which develops out of a strange triangle of stepmother, stepdaughter, and a man about town who comes near to breaking the girl's heart while playing up to her stepmother. With this much of a questionable background (adroitly handled), the story goes on to Paris, to another emotional shock for the girl, singularly unversed in the ways of the world, and of her escape into a wholly new setting which ends in her falling in love with a small town English youth and a happy marriage.
