KIRKUS REVIEW

A little Christmas story and a lesson in internationalism. Two Dutch refugee children in an American home help heal the breach between neighbors, neighbors who had become bitter antagonists in adult life but who secretly regretted the homely intimacy of their childhood days. Pleasantly sentimental and tuned to the Christmas spirit. Not really a juvenile -- but a Christmas story about children.
