SPLASH! ALL ABOUT BATHS

As a group of ebulliently portrayed animals (duck, frog, elephant, penguin, etc.) cavort in a bath, a dozen scientific questions frequently raised by small children in that environment are presented: Why does the water go up when you get in? Why does skin wrinkle? Why is there a ring around the tub? Most are answered succinctly in a manner suitable to the audience, with appropriate simple experiments suggested. The statement that metal boats float because they are ""all spread out on top of the water"" is so inadequate as to be misleading, but otherwise the explanations are good and the illustrations are fun.
