KIRKUS REVIEW

As in Numblers (1988), collages of shapes cut from artfully patterned papers intrigue the eye and test the mind. The animal figures here are constructed from numbers still recognizable after various distortions and transpositions; the puzzle is to find the pair, the ones that overlap, the widest, etc. Handsome and clever, but not very puzzling; potentially useful to spark similar artistic efforts.
