THE SEA TROLL

The enigmatic elision of what might have happened and what actually did, takes place, for the most part, in the alcohol-fogged mind of Captain Haugen of the Sea Troll en route to Singapore: memories of his wife are superimposed over the reality of Corinne Reynolds, a pretty, depressive widow, and the body of a Russian woman found in Hong Kong. All in all, one of the more attractive items which should do well for that late sitting.
