Syd Hoff, the New Yorker cartoonist, turns to a children's book with a laughable story of a lost baby tiger who turned out not to be one after all. After serious debate about what kind of pet she really wants, Patty finds a kitten. Watching TV with the kitten in her lap, Patty sees the announcement of the lost cub and has a temporary panic until it is clarified.
