ANIMALS AS FRIENDS AND HOW TO KEEP THEM
by ‧RELEASE DATE: N/A
A biologist and assistant curator of the London Zoo, and the editor of England's Animal and Zoo Magazine give concise, straight information guidedance to the care of all kinds of animals. They have deliberately selected odd species, in addition to a few more familiar ones, and include monkeys, bush babies, bats, mongooses, foxes, squirrels, dormice, rats and mice, rabbits, sheep, goats, deer, birds of many kinds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and finally cats and dogs. Each animal is briefly discussed, --distribution, habitat, origin, diet, diseases and cures, costs of upkeep, breeding, and the particular do's and donts. No doubt authentic, but not a book for the casual reader, the average animal lover.
