KIRKUS REVIEW

More cartoons -- from The New Yorker, Colliers, Esquire and some unpublished, showing the Bronx, as ""she is lived""...Dependent, chiefly, on their incongruity, there is an element of reality and probability that keeps this from being among the books of sheer many humor, and the captions serve to underline the merely slight exaggeration of the characters in the drawings. Nothing unkind here -- rather improvisations on the themes of family, romantic and social life, with their moments of substantial humor.
