THIRD ACT IN VENICE

Vitreous in texture is this tragedy of love and passion, which starts on the Riviera, reaches high tension in London, and shatters completely in Venice. Radnor falls victim to his charm for women, and tries to escape to Venice. Peopled with a gallery of definitely sketched characters, the story has a brittle quality which seems at variance with its heavier undertones. A better book than The Silver Rattle but not up to some of her earlier work.
