KIRKUS REVIEW

A photographic book, with a difference. Here is no development of a thesis, no binding thread of purpose. But here is a book that everyone interested in photography in its finest developments must have -- granted the possession of the very moderate price of $2.75. This is the first of what is to be an record of of the best in American photography. All of the leaders in the field are represented, and there are a goodly number of amateurs as well. Beautiful piece of book making, fine reproduction, and superb photography, 192 plates, including some in color. Of special interest is the analysis of timing and exposure, concrete data for the camera enthusiast. Advance rolled up through special promotion, and orders to be allocated to bookshops. Call to attention of all your customers interested in photography -- it is a ""natural"" for that market.
