SIERRA OUTPOST

The author and her husband, with the completion of a water-diversion tunnel, decide to stay on at Florence Lake in the Sierras and this is the story of their year round life there, particularly in the winter, when, isolated from the world, birds and animals create diversion, friendship, interest and philosophy.
