WAR AND PEACE IN SOVIET DIPLOMACY

This is a revealing and disturbing book, and one which students of diplomacy should study with care. For here is an analysis of Soviet diplomacy from Lenin to the present, based on documentary evidence, and showing how Russia has functioned to one end -- eventual world revolution and world domination. Russia has sought peace at any price -- temporary treaties as stop gaps before the next move. The Nazi pact is an instance in point. Out of the mouths of Soviet leaders, he convinces one -- as Rauschning does in The Voice of Destruction. The author is a professor at Harvard Law School, a thorough student and not, by nature, an alarmist.
