KIRKUS REVIEW

A generalized view of the five main types of Indians in the U.S.- Northwest Coast, Plains, Puble, Swamp and Longhouse- this pictures the country before the white man came. Except for a couple of misleading implications that Indians had horses and that Seminoles were a pre-white people,- the essentials of how the main divisions lived are in good survey form.
