Gogo, a lonely chinchilla, does go 'round the world, but at such a monotonous pace, asking the same questions, giving the same answers, that he cannot be designated an exciting or companionable globetrotter. The talking animals do not seem at ease with the English language; they speak in sing-songy rigid sentences. Gogo's world-wide search for a wife ends successfully in the Andes where he settles at last. The brown, grey and white pictures are not much better than detailed cartoons.
