Here's another of the Brown's irresistibly tempting fillips to jaded appetites. They can make food the most absorbing of all subjects, and this is no exception. There is perhaps less side comment as to customs and less anecdotal material, but the marshalling of facts, the appetizing sound of the recipes, the stimulus to the housekeeper's flagging imagination fully warrants adding this to every well-equipped shelf of cookery.
