THE ADVENTURES OF LITTLE BROTHER

To make his granddaughter, Water Lily, happier, Grandfather had made her a oll. When the doll comes to life, the old man is pleased and Water Lily is over-oyed about having a new companion. The sudden happiness lasts until Little Brother, the doll, gets lost in the city. Before he and a new found toy-friend find Water Lily again, he has two adventures: a jolly time with a sailor in a Teahouse, and a night-marish two days with a spoiled rich little girl. The story is a sort of Oriental Pinocchio. The two-color art work, which is too darkly outlined and stiff, seems inappropriately heavy for the short fantasy.
