DIANA'S FEATHERS

Good entertainment in a modern school story, not sissy nor written down. Diana, with a mother in England and a father in hospital in India, organizes the Feathered Friends while waiting in New Haven for school to open. High spirits and vivid imagination get her into hot water and she ends her year in a cloud of doubtful glory by breaking every rule on the calendar to accomplish a worthy end. The story was serialized, in shortened form, in St. Nicholas.
