The boy, Roan, grows up trying to overcompensate for his inadequate equipment... no wings...no claws. Roan, the man, embarks on an odyssey to find the long-lost Terra and his own kind. After many epic adventures he reaches Earth only to find an effeminate race, bent on self-destruction with suicide sacrosanct. The obvious, anti-racist message boosts this one above the usual planet-to-planet space bauble.
