KIRKUS REVIEW

Here's a book I don't like. A translation from the French, and an absurd tale of a prize winning pet who disappeared, and of how the two set to watch her followed her around the world, just missing her as she experienced ridiculous adventures. The wind-up, when they got her home and found she was not wanted, is deliberate anticlimax. Not a book children will particularly appreciate. Forced humor.
