GABRIEL AND THE ANGELS by Theress Townsend

GABRIEL AND THE ANGELS

By

Publisher: Winston

The story of a minister's son, who cursed with the name of Gabriel and the face to go with it, has a lot to live down. Country reared, life in the new town to which they move is quite different, particularly in a school of 1500 boys. Gabriel has difficulties with his science teacher, who seems continually unjust, but his English teacher helps smooth the quirks. Gabriel plays Cupid on the side, matching up his shy rather dull father, long a widower, with this teacher who has become important to him. Simon-pure, a little old fashioned, for lively American taste. Can't any possibility of the adult sale that the publishers suggest.
