A good horse story, rather than a cowboy story, against a background of Death Valley and the neighboring desert. Hurricane Pinto evades capture for four years, and, once taken, becomes more or less of an outlaw, except in the hands of the ranchman's young son. Adventures -- thievery -- escape -- and the threat of worse in Death Valley. The horse turns here and rescues father and son.
