BENJAMIN FRANKLIN: A Biography in His Own Words

Poor Richard cautioned, ""If you would not be forgotten, as soon as you are dead and rotten, either write things worth reading, or do things worth the writing."" Culled from the in-progress Yale edition of Franklin's papers, this patchwork of Ben's own words neatly augments and continues the famous Autobiography, complemented by some 300 illustrations. It also suggests that Franklin, at least in this case, followed his own advice.
